The Volvo V90 Cross Country Marks the Return of the Mighty Wagon! – 2018 San Diego International Auto Show

While most Americans prefer their oversized impractical SUV’s, I’m over here drooling over Volvo’s latest full-size wagon, or as they call it, “estate” car.  Wagons are better than SUV’s in every way.  They drive like cars, have a lower center of gravity, actually have more usable space on the inside, and can do nearly everything an SUV can do.  With a striking design featuring Volvo’s signature widemouth grill, new “Thor-Hammer” headlamps, and C-pillar integrated taillights, I could not stop staring at its big booted beauty.  This Cross Country version (the only V90 wagon offered for sale in the US without special order) features even more utility, with rugged all-terrain clad bumpers and rockers, a 2 inch ride height increase to the standard V90, All-Wheel Drive and active suspension.  Inside are the most comfortable seats in the business, completely innovative technology with a touchscreen center panel and virtual gauges, bejeweled controls.  It’s light and airy and feels like it was design by an artist from the future.  I am head over heels in love with this wagon!
